“This campaign to put alternative slogans on London buses will make people think - and thinking is anathema to religion” - Richard Dawkins
This was a comment made by Dawkins towards the "No God" slogans on the London atheist buses. I haven't posted anything on this blog for a long time, simply because I was busy with something and still am. Nevertheless, I don't want to leave my blog ignored. Therefore, I decide to write something.
Since my friend said on my blog, "You are believing in the religion of rationality, progress, and science," in an accusing tone, I suspect that he dislikes "rationality," "progress," and "science" but favors "irrational religion" instead (he's a protestant). That's one of the reasons why I attack those Protestants. They are one of the biggest obstacles of science and rationality. With an ancient book, they try to destroy the civilization we have built up for millennia.
In other words, they are anti-social. Let me respond his statement in a more straightforward way. Yes, I do believe in the religion of rationality, progress, and science. I don't see any problems with that. Since I am a worshiper of rationality, progress, and science, what I do would only be rational and beneficial to progress and science, i.e. to the mankind. Those three things have provided numerous benefits to us on which those Protestants also rely. On the other hand, irrational religion of gods and goddesses has caused uncountable problems towards our history and society. Even in the 21st century, religion is still the biggest obstacle in science and society. The Protestants are the most vociferous group against evolution, and they even attempt to ban the teaching of evolution, which is a solid fact, in schools. Those retarded bible-talkers, forgive my rudeness, are trying to knock people retarded with their ancient book. Jehovah's Witnesses even try to refrain people from blood transfusion during surgeries. This so-called biblical teaching has cost thousands and millions of people's lives. I was talking to a Protestant one day and criticizing Obama's pastor who said, "God damn America." And his respond, kind of surprising, was like, "We'd better not criticize what pastors preach." Then he tried to look for a versus in the Bible to prove that Jeremiah Wright was right when he said such profane words. At first they tried to make every scientist a Christian, and now what? They try to make every pastor GOD? They believe in the ministers as if they were God itself. Imagine when their pastor has a genocide plan towards a nation, I suspect they would really follow their minister without doubt. The Protestants are causing brain damage to people.
As Dawkins has said, "thinking is anathema to religion," the Protestants are anti-social and they have created numerous problems and disasters for our society. If they declare that we are believing in the religion of rationality, then I'm pretty sure our religion is much better than theirs. Rationality and science can contribute a lot to people, but their so-called insane retarded religion can only cause brain damage and social disasters.

Why Protestantism Broke and Breaks Religious Unity
My Protestant friend posted a reply. He actually is a nice person to talk and even debate with. Unfortunately and sadly to say, his newest reply, in a way, proves my point.
"First, Can you believe there are Protestants who are non-fundamentalists and yet they believe in the inerrancy of the Bible? I can tell you there are plenty of this kind of Christians around. Do you know them?"
Of course I can. As I have said, there are numerous types of Christians in this world. Everybody could call themselves Christians because they could interpret the Bible by themselves. I would not be surprised to see 100 types of Christians who hold different beliefs and yet still call themselves "Christians" or "Protestants". Christianity is an anarchy, and the Christians are such a mess. They are in need of an authority to interpret the Bible correctly, accurately, rationally, historically and scientifically. Most of the churches nowadays do not have the authority to interpret the Bible. I do not know why Luther and other reformers had the authority to do the interpretation and could be 100% accurate. Luther actually took several books out of the Bible. I do not think Luther or other reformers had the right to select books or scriptures. The Bible, in nowhere, says that someone called "Luther" or "Calvin" or whoever could interpret the Bible 1500 years after Jesus' Resurrection.
And these are the most common responses I have received from the Protestants:
1. "We believe Luther/Calvin/Zwingli because we think Luther's/Calvin's/Zwingli's interpretation is the most accurate one."
My response to that: why do you think you have the authority/knowledge/ability to determine which one is the most accurate interpretation? Where, in the Bible, does it tell you that? (Since you like to use the Bible, I would suggest you to check your Bible first.) You determine things based on your limited knowledge.
2. "We are inspired by the Holy Spirit and it makes us recognize Luther's interpretation."
My response to that: how do you know you are inspired by the Holy Spirit? Everybody who holds different beliefs says they are "inspired". Calvinists say they are inspired. Lutherans also say they are inspired. I guess the Holy Spirit is just too bored so that it goes around tapping people's heads to inspire. Don't tell me that you "feel" it. You determine things by your emotion and intuition which are two of the most unreliable things in the world.
3. "We cannot know completely about God. Luther is correct although we do not have direct evidence. We just cannot know completely about God... We just need to believe."
My response to that: shut the hell up and stop using the Bible to knock yourself retarded.
You can see from their answers and responses that they just interpret or choose the interpreter as they wish. Using their limited knowledge or even worse, their emotion and intuition, they claim different beliefs that are irrational and unchristian. And these beliefs are breaking religious unity in the world.
And now please allow me to tell you an interesting story. Two kids were talking to each other. And suddenly the younger kid started cursing to the older one and saying things that were insulting to him. That older kid was so nice to him that he asked him to recant his insulting words, but the younger one refused. Then the older kid broke his relationship with the younger one, and the younger one was upset, crying, "he kicked my ass."
The younger kid's name was Luther and the older one was the Catholic Church. Luther declared things that would undermine the Church's authority. His five solas denied the role of the Church. Do you think the Church was able to just say, "No problem, Mr. Luther. We still recognize you." Luther was undermining the Church's authority and role in Christianity. There was no way that the Church could accept Luther who intentionally tried to break way from the Church.
I have to admit that Luther was a savant who knew about Christianity. As Luther would admit himself, he was not perfect and could not be 100% correct. Human history is made of processes and developments. The interpretation of the Bible and Christianity need to be fixed, amended and developed. The Protestants refused any developments but hold Luther's or other reformers' interpretation as inevitable truths. Again, from nowhere can I see that they had the authority to select books or interpret books.
There were problems within the Church at that time, but why did those reformers create new churches? The reformers published teachings that opposed the Church's authority at that time and caused the Church to kick them out. If there are problems in this country, would you suggest to get rid of the government and turn this country into an anarchy in which there are no ruling authorities, no laws, and no orders. The country and the people would be a mess. People would start to fight for their own benefits. Same thing happened during the Protestant Reformation. I'm glad that my friend mentioned that the Catholics and Protestants fought together in some wars. Just like the Thirty Years' War, Catholic France was an ally of the Protestants. Religion, at that period, was used as an excuse or reason to wage wars. Let's imagine there were no Protestants - the countries could not use religion as an excuse to fight and the Catholic Church had the authority of power to control to situation, therefore delaying and even preventing the wars from happening. Unfortunately, the Protestants broke religious unity and gave those countries an excuse to fight. And religion has great power which could cause people to slaughter each other because they have different beliefs. As Jesus said, "I bring sword to this world." People, who held different beliefs and fought in those religious wars, thought they were fighting for their own gods and salvation, in which they would devote and dedicate more than usual. From the discussions I had with those Protestants, I could see how passionate they were when they were defending their beliefs. Religious disputes could break and worsen the relationships between family members, countries and friends. If this kind of passion is devoted into wars, the destruction is unimaginable and unpredictable. Using religion, the potentates could give their soldiers more devotion and passion, and thus they would fight more bloodily and forget their conscience - because they were fighting for God.
Religious unity is indeed needed since the so-called Christians are spinning around and teaching different things that are unchristian. The Protestants who have no authority keep interpreting the Bible as they wish without any sort of verification. Some worse Protestants even say they interpret the Bible by their feelings. These various Protestantisms have given Christianity the label of irrationality. And I suggest people who are interested in religion:
America is a great country in which everybody could have freedom of everything, but, in a way, the freedom of religions is being extremely augmented to the extent that those insane churches could spread things that are unscientific and cause harm to our society. The only way to stop them is the educate ourselves and use rationality.

What Adjectives Do I Have For Christians
One of my Protestant friends commented yesterday, saying, "what other adjectives do you have for Christians?"
It makes me realize the importance of definitions. People can give "god", "religion", and "Christian" thousands of meanings. Now, I will try to define different types of Christians that I will talk about or even attack.
Fundamentalist Christian - a person who believes in Jesus Christ and the inerrancy of the Bible, i.e. the Bible is literally and totally correct.
Protestant - a person who believes in Jesus Christ but does not recognize the authority of the Roman Catholic Church.
Catholic - a person who believes in Jesus Christ and recognizes the authority of the Roman Catholic Church.
These are the Christians I will talk about in the future. There are numerous types of people who declare they believe in Jesus. The number is uncountable. Since Martin Luther broke away from the Catholic Church, more and more Protestants started to pop out. Luther and other Protestant reformers broke the religious unity in Europe and thus many religious wars started. And now, those unorganized Christ-believers have various interpretations for the Bible, which makes Christianity unclear and even unchristian. The unity of Christianity is severely needed since we should not let people interpret as they wish. We need some authority to control and manage the teachings. If Christianity is a country, then it is an anarchy. The people, or Christians, in this country are a mess.

Fundamentalism Is the Biggest Menace towards Our Society
In the 21 century, it is hard to believe that there are still people who hold the Bible literally. Religion, in some ways, is a menace towards our society. Fundamentalism is one of the religions that undermine our modern society and civilization.
First of all, fundamentalism is anti-science. The fundamentalists treat the Bible literally and apply it to science. The Bible, as I have said, has no scientific values. It cannot be used as a science book to teach scientific facts. Many passages in the Bible, especially the Old Testament, were written according to authors' ancestors' ancient legends which consisted of unscientific views and insane imagination on some natural phenomena. Some of the legends were actually derived from some local mythology. And those legends were passed down after several generations until they were written down. The legends must have been modified and edited severely. Since those ancient authors did not know that much about science and God, they credited everything that could not be explained by modern science to God who actually did not do most of the things in the Old Testament. The things take place in the O.T. are contradictory to God's very nature, i.e. love and just. The Bible, or those ancient legends, should never be used in the science field.
Secondly, fundamentalism is irrational and anti-human. What makes human beings human? One of the things that we have is rationality. Fundamentalism is irrational and anti-rational, i.e. anti-human. The fundamentalists try to destroy our human mind and insert the Bible into our brain, therefore undermining our rationality with the Bible. The Bible can sometimes be used as a retardation pill. The fundamentalists, or most of them, teach us to use the Bible as the basic source of our life and thinking, instead of our rationality. When we ask those fundamentalists about a contradiction in the Bible, they cannot explain but say, "I don't know. We cannot completely understand God so there are things we don't know. We just believe. That's it. It requires faith. You just need to believe in Jesus." This is one of the signs of the irrationality of fundamentalism. They just "believe" without "thinking". There are many contradictions even within the Bible if you take it literally. They are and will never be able to explain them. Instead, they use their most retarded skill to cover them: "We don't know. We can't completely understand God." They do not doubt or think about the things in science and even the Bible per se, which indicates they have lost their doubting and reasoning abilities. Descartes started his philosophy by doubting everything from which he derives his most famous quote, "cogito ergo sum". We are by thinking and progress by thinking and reasoning. Progresses are made by those people who think and doubt. The fundamentalists, who do not think or doubt but hold the Bible as it is, are anti-progress and anti-human. They lock themselves and try to lock the others in the insane cage which they create by using the ancient crazy legends of the Bible.
Thirdly, the fundamentalists, in a way, are even unchristian. Again, the Old Testament was written by people who were living in those B.C. days. Their morality, compared to ours, is somewhat immoral and incomprehensible. Sometimes when we read the law codes, rituals and traditions of the ancient peoples, we would sigh, "Why were they so violent and immoral?" Because they were just developing their civilization. They would do things we consider immoral and violent. In their world, they were very normal and acceptable. Several years ago when I was traveling in a city, there was a 4 year old in our tour. One day when we were eating together, he saw a delicious dish and cried, "I want the whole dish! Nobody can touch it! It's mine not yours!" To us, this might sound selfish. To him, it was completely normal. Maybe after he grew up, he would recognize it was a selfish act and correct himself. It is just a progress. Babies grow and develop after a period of time. So do humans. Primeval peoples might sound immoral to us because they were in the earliest stage of development. The Bible was written by those people who lived in ancient times. Their God, who they created according their own imperfect imagination and understanding, was like them. He would do things that they considered "normal" and ethical." The God in the Old Testament is totally different from the God in the New Testament. The O.T. God is not love or just. The authors put their personalities into God. As Dawkins describes in his book, The God Delusion, “The God of the Old Testament is arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully.” The personalities, characters and natures of God in the O.T. is completely against God's real nature, i.e. love and just. Unfortunately, the fundamentalists worship a god that has these features in the O.T. and preach this insane freak as Jesus' Father. Hence fundamentalism is unchristian. And the things in the Old Testament should not be encouraged, worshipped and glorified. Unfortunately again, the fundamentalists are encouraging them with their irrational mind...
Fundamentalism can be summarized by 2 U's and 2 I's - unscientific, irrational, inhuman and unchristian. Let's stay away from the fundamentalist churches and develop our civilization.

No Public School Should Teach Creation
Teaching the creation story in the first few chapters of the Bible in public schools is definitely illegal and unacceptable. First of all, it violates the main idea of the Constitution of the United States, i.e., secularism. The Church and the state should be separated. The Christians, especially fundamentalists, who try to push public schools to teach creation, are actually breaking the fundamental foundation of this country. Secondly, the creation story was written more than two thousand years ago by some authors who were "inspired" by God according to those Christians. They did not know that much about science and were, in a way, uncivilized and superstitious. They drew God's imagine out of their own imagination and some mythology taken from other nations. Therefore, the creation story in the Bible should be viewed as the creation stories in Greek and Roman mythologies. None of them has any scientific values.
Teaching creation is an attempt to bring human civilization back to two thousand years ago. It is also an attempt to use the Bible to knock people retarded, i.e., to make people lose their rationality and reasoning ability. I also encourage the Christians to think critically and reasonably about their religion and their Bible. They are a big obstacle of modern science, undermining modern civilization.
I also suggest that we stay away from the fundamentalist churches who preach creation because they are undermining our rationality and civilization. Use your reason instead of the book written several thousand years ago.
